3 Styles: Draped, Off-Shoulder, Boat Neck
After watching Jean’s video on her recent Gap cowl neck sweater haul, I decided to experiment with my own cowl neck top. For work, of course, I wear my cowl neck sweater dress just draped in the front. But, after work and on weekends, it’s fun to stretch out the cowl neck and show a little bit of shoulder. My favorite is probably the off-shoulder cowl neck look as I think it’s a casual kind of sexiness, and you don’t have to show a lot of skin to achieve the look.
In unrelated news, the lovely fall foliage outside my roof is slowly falling away. Winter is around the corner! It’s been fun being able to go back through pictures and see the lush green leaves slowly turn to autumn, and now slowly fall off as we head into the colder months. Although I will miss the greenery, the good news is that maybe you will actually be able see the downtown Dallas view soon without the leaves in the way!

Love all three, especially the one-shoulder deal. I've been looking for a good cowl-neck sweater dress for a while now. This one is super cute!

I love cowl necks for their versatility, although I've only really worn mine the cowl neck way. Gotta try the other styles sometime when the weather gets warmer. You look cute and warm, perfect for fall 🙂

Thanks for showing it 3 ways! I only recently found out that you could even do that 🙂 I've been looking for a gray belt FOREVER – I may have to venture to the mall to check out F21 bc I love that one! Love the outfit of course too!

Cute cowl neck! I enjoyed seeing the different ways you styled it! =)

I think I like it as a cowl neck the best because of the fit (it looks a bit weird in the armpit region when you pull it down)… but either way you look so chic in this! The sweater doesn't look Forever 21 at all.
Have a lovely day Kileen!

P.S. You're so lucky to JUST have the leaves start to disappear! We've had winter here for a good month and a bit already!

This sweater looks great all three ways, but I'm in love with the one shoulder style! It's flirty, yet conservative. Perfection! Can't wait to see the Dallas views! 🙂
