Who doesn’t love brunch, am I right? Pancakes, omelets, and don’t forget the chicken and waffles! The Dallas food scene is pretty amazing and brunch is one of my favorite meals to go out and enjoy. I’m rounding up the best brunch in Dallas. Be sure to bookmark this post as you’ll want to make sure not to miss these hot spots around town!

The Best Brunch in Dallas
1. Breadwinners Cafe: A Dallas Classic
Breadwinners Cafe is a staple here in Dallas and one of my favorite places to take guests who are visiting from out of town. The menu has great variety with all your breakfast and lunch classics with lighter fare as well. Their bakery is in-house and you can definitely expect some yummy carb options including a complimentary bread basket with a sampling of delicious bread and muffins!
The Uptown location of Breadwinners is my favorite, but arrive early and expect a line come weekend brunch!
2. Mudhen Meat and Greens: Healthy local fare by the Dallas Farmer’s Market
I just discovered this gem a few weeks ago when a friend recommended it to me and it is one of my favorite new Dallas brunch spots. Mudhen is located in the Dallas Farmer’s Market, which is always a treat to visit, and I love that Mudhen features farm-to-table options that change with what’s in season. And while there are numerous healthy options available (first place I’ve ever seen bone broth offered as a drink, which I do recommend as it’s delicious!), Mudhen doesn’t claim to be a health-food restaurant. Their food just tastes downright good and even just sitting to enjoy the lively ambiance makes Mudhen one of my favorites.
3. The Woolworth: Delicious food, creative cocktails, plus a view of the Giant Eyeball
The Woolworth is situated in Downtown Dallas and is another great spot to bring out of town guests. Dine on the outdoor balcony and enjoy a view of the iconic Giant Eyeball. The food at this best brunch in Dallas location is consistently spectacular (highly recommend the crab nachos!) but you’ll always want to make sure to enjoy a pomegranate mimosa or two!
4. Alamo Club: Amazing food, famous margaritas, and a trendy Lower Greenville vibe
Alamo Club is a new spot that just opened up in February 2019 but it has quickly become quite the spot for brunch on the Lower Greenville strip! The fare is a modern take an American with creative craft cocktails that have never disappointed. Enjoy a seat on the outdoor patio too for some people watching!
5. Taverna: Italian fare in the hip Knox/Henderson neighborhood
I may be a bit partial to the Knox/Henderson area as it’s where we had our stomping grounds for 4 years. Taverna is located right next to the Katy Trail and has a delicious authentically Italian brunch menu combined with a cozy atmosphere. Mimosas are only $2 during their weekend brunch and I highly recommend their bruschetta. Take a seat on the quaint outdoor terrace to soak in the Knox/Henderson vibe!
6. Doc B’s: Upscale twists on American favorites
Doc B’s is relatively new to the Dallas scene but it another spot that is great for groups and out-of-towners. Their menu has something for everyone including healthy options and even not-so-healthy options, lol. I personally love their acai bowl but you don’t want to miss their Cinn-a-swirl pancake!

7. Kirin Court Dim Sum: Order the Har Gow and Try Something New
Something different than the usual lineup of brunch fare, but you can bet that we go here at least once a month to enjoy their dim sum! Kirin Court has the best dim sum in Dallas with all the usual favorites including har gow, shu mai, and chicken feet if you’re feeling adventurous. Best part of dim sum is that you can see the food before you order as they’re pushed around on small carts wheeled around the restaurant floor.
8. Elm Street Cask and Kitchen: southern-inspired comfort food with 200+ whiskeys
Enjoy downtown Dallas along with some comfort food that will remind you that you live in the South! You don’t want to miss the classic Chicken N’ Waffle or the Beer Can chicken to feel like you’re really getting the Texas experience. All the food is made from scratch and Elm Street Cask and Kitchen, making the flavors bright and flavorful! I’m not one for whiskey, but if you or your friends are, this spot has the best selection.
9. Common Table: three words — hip-hop brunch
Where else can you get old-school hip hop music with your brunch? The scene at Common Table is a good time on the weekends and it’s a unique experience that you have to enjoy for yourself!
10. Oddfellows: a charming spot in Bishop Arts
I love walking around the quirky Bishop Arts neighborhood and Oddfellows has all the usual favorites made fresh with local, seasonal ingredients. Highly recommend their brisket hash and iced latte. Be sure to leave time to explore Bishop Arts too afterward!
