I’ve been sticking to dresses lately as they’re just so simple to throw on when I need to head out (seems like I’m always in a rush these days!). This floral one is so different from anything that I currently own with its boxy cut and large, strong sleeves. I was a bit wary at first and experimented a bit with different ways to belt it to create a waistline. In the end, I ended up liking the dress worn as-is — the looser shape in the body seemed to balance out the sharp, crisp sleeves and let it be the focus of the outfit. The pink peony blooms against the navy background adds a perfect feminine touch and I just love the contrast of colors!
