Continuing with the Valentine’s Day inspiration looks (in case you missed it, you can check them out here and here), this outfit is feminine, pretty, and pink!  I’m crushing hard on pink shades right now and was excited to see that rose quartz was even named one of the Pantone colors of 2016!

I love the waterfall drape style of this coat and it’s the perfect layering piece for those days when only a light layer is needed.  The fabric of this coat is more like a blanket (so snuggly!) and the edges are serged to prevent fraying.  I found the sleeves about 2″ too long on me and borrowed a friend’s serger for an easy diy.  I know this coat will be getting lots of wear as I’m itching for spring already!

This floral dress has been one of my closet favorites and is a piece I wear both to work and on weekends (last styled here).  The long sleeves make it a great transitional item and the drawstring waist makes it perfect for those weekends when I might want to indulge in a little extra Tex-Mex!  🙂
