Missha
Please check out my previous blog post where I demonstrate the usage of this product. Unfortunately it is sold in Asian countries only but can be bought from online retailers. I purchased from eBay (Star-Shop-365) but it is also available from retailers like Pretty and Cute.
Mandom Beauty Barrier Repair Baby Moist Milk
This is another Asian skincare product and is used as a toner to help hydrate the skin. I use it after I wash my face, and I’ve noticed that it really helps the other products I put on afterward sink into my skin better. For the first time, I’ve noticed that my skin feels very supple and moisturized even hours after I put it on. This product really deserves its own blog post, so I’ll stop here. 🙂 I found this product at my local 99 Ranch Supermarket (it’s an Asian supermarket), so if you have one of these stores in your city, definitely go check it out! Also available for purchase online at Cosme Land.
L’Oreal Lash Boosting Serum
This is the first eyelash growth serum that has actually worked for me. I’ve tried countless ones before — Talika Eyelash Lipocils, Jan Marini Eyelash Conditioner, and Revitalash Md Eyelash Growth Serum — and surprisingly enough this drugstore item was the one that worked! It took me about a month of daily usage (at least once a day, sometimes twice) before I saw a difference. But my lashes are definitely longer now and I’ve actually had numerous people asking if I’m wearing false eyelashes! Trust me, I’ve had short straight lashes all my life and to have people ask if I’m wearing false eyelashes when I’m not is a huge feat for me. Definite win with this product!
Maybelline Shine Sensational Lipgloss in Cherry Bloom
This lipgloss has become my new chapstick replacement. It’s moisturizing and provides a really nice shine to my lips. There’s not much color with this product, but it’s just enough to enhance the natural color of my lips. Even though I think there’s supposed to be a cherry taste associated with this product, there’s not enough for me to taste it. Just a bit of warning though, I was so excited about this product that I went back and bought a couple more of the lipglosses and they were all a bust! Horrible color, very sticky, and when mixed with food or drink, it tasted foul in my mouth! The Cherry Bloom color imho is the only one worth buying.
Pantene Pro-V Hair Solutions – shampoo/conditioner for fine hair
I received a sample of this product and I have to admit that I am wowed. I had used Pantene in the past but had stopped using it after everyone told me all it did was load your hair with product buildup and silicones — it did nothing to actually repair your hair but instead just covered it all up with chemicals. Pantene has since reformulated their products and their new line of shampoos/conditioners are a home run. I was actually able to air-dry my hair and have it look nice! Usually I always have to style my hair either with a flat iron, curling iron, or blow dryer in order for it to look decent. But, this product made my hair actually look ok with a nice body wave without any styling at all. I was thoroughly impressed. I’ve used up the samples that I’ve received and am definitely re-buying this product!
Garnier Fructis Nutrient Spray
I recently went on vacation to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and after a week of sand and salt, my hair really needed some TLC. I went out in search of something I could put in my hair overnight to help repair it. I found this product after some research and after my first use, I was hooked. The next morning my hair felt softer and silkier than it’s felt in ages. This product is cheap but very effective, and doesn’t leave pillowcase stains either!
Conair Infiniti You Curl curling iron
This is the one curling iron that actually holds a curl for me. Previously, I’ve used a Chi 1 1/2″ curling iron, Conair Instant Heat Hot Rollers, and even a flatiron to try and curl my hair before and none of them have worked. The flatiron was the best out of those three, but I wasn’t very adept at using the flatiron to curl my hair and the curls just didn’t look quite right (especially the ones in the back of my head). Enter the Conair Infinit You Curl. This curling iron is amazing. It’s super fast to use and I can actually curl my entire head in <10 minutes! The curls stay in all day and even through to the next day as I have ended up sleeping in them before only to wake up to nice curls the next morning still! At around $35, this little wand does magic!
Hope this was helpful!
