Best Fitting Jeans:
I’m so excited to be sharing the very first post in a series titled Style For Every Body. The fashion space isn’t always very inclusive when it comes to portraying clothes on different body types, so we wanted to come together to share our favorite picks for a given item and how we rock it to flaunt our figures — together we’re representing petite, tall, curvy, and pear-shaped! All the credit for this great idea goes out to Lauren, and I’m just so happy to be friends with this group of amazing babes! We’re kicking off the series with denim (cause who doesn’t love a good pair of jeans, right?!) so read on to see each of our favorite jean picks!

Jeans are part of my everyday outfits probably 5 days out of the week, so you can bet that having jeans that make me feel good is critical! Up until a few months ago, I had always struggled with finding jeans that fit me in length as I am only 5′ tall and have super short legs to go with it. Then, I took a chance on a pair of American Eagle jeans (this exact one, actually).
American Eagle jeans offer 4 different inseam options, ranging from x-short to x-long, and it’s a small miracle that the x-short inseam works perfectly straight off the rack! The x-short has an inseam of 25″ and it is legit my ideal inseam length for that perfect full-length jean fit.
Beyond just the inseam options, I’ve also been consistently impressed with how well the jeans hold up to regular wear! The denim is super stretchy yet doesn’t stretch out, flatters at every angle, and even washes well wear after wear. While I may have spent over $100 easily on a pair of designer jeans in the past, I’m always scoping out American Eagle now for their jeans that are under $50 and just as good!
My favorite American Eagle jeans are their high-waisted styles — they come up perfectly right at belly button level and really give you that hourglass shape while sucking everything in where needed. Also, don’t be fooled into thinking their “jegging” is not a true denim and/or have faux pockets like some other brands — these jeggings are fully functional and the fabric a light-medium weight that holds up well! I’ve linked up a few of my favorite American Eagle jeans below (they also recently launched a curvy fit jean option too!). Everything is 25% off right now too so definitely take advantage of the deal:

Album cover pose, anyone? 😂 It’s amazing how your favorite pair of jeans can just make you feel good from the inside out! We were definitely feeling ourselves posing for the camera and I just loved seeing how everyone rocked their denim.
Lauren and Ginger actually both showed up in Madewell denim and it’s making me think I need to try out a pair for myself! Madewell also offers extended sizing with options in petite, tall, and taller — Ginger is 5’11” and rocking the Taller style like a boss!

Meredith is on the curvy petite side and had nothing but rave reviews for her Good American jeans — these also range in size from 00 to 24!

While I do wish they’d do something different with the butt pockets, I have found myself purchasing their denim pretty consistently over the years! Especially their shorts. They just fit so well! 🙂
I agree on that one! the butt design isn’t bad but I do wish there were some different options, lol.
