Hello! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and I’m so excited to kick off the week with a post on accessorizing. And accessorizing with statement earrings, in this case! For the past couple of years, I finish off almost every outfit with a pair of statement earrings and in my opinion, there’s no easier way to look put together!

Lobe Wonder patches – amazing for supporting statement earrings!

One quick tip before we jump in, I did want to share a note about these Lobe Wonder patches as they are amazing for minimizing the weight that big earrings can sometimes have on your ear. They’re just little oval stickers that go on the back of your ear and make a huge difference so that earrings won’t tug or stretch your ear! A package comes with 60 stickers and even though they’re marked as single-use, I actually reuse mine 2-3 times before they stop sticking!

If you’re just getting used to wearing larger statement earrings, I would definitely recommend choosing a style in a color that is a close match to your hair color. It makes the transition more gradual and allows you to slowly adjust to seeing that accessory pop on the sides of your face. Statement earrings seriously come in almost every color these days (and brunettes have the option of going with tortoise-shell styles — in love with this one!).

Once you do get comfortable with larger statement earrings, it’s time to add in some color! Even if you’re not someone who wears a lot of color, earrings are a great way to throw in that colorful pop! I often prefer to let the earrings do all the talking when it comes to color and opt for solid tops to balance it out. White is always one of my favorites for a crisp clean palette and it just seems so summery too when paired with a colorful statement earring!

Tassels are always a good idea and honestly I’ve found that they go with just about every outfit! They have a way of elevating an outfit while still keeping it casual and fun. From long tassel earrings to shorter styles paired with pom poms or hoops, they’re all a win in my book!

Coordinating your accessories is the easiest way to make your outfit still look cohesive and I love pairing my earrings with either a belt, bag, or shoes! It gives the pop of color something to anchor to and it’s also a fun way to change up your outfit for less!

Statement earrings are my JAM recently! I can’t stop, won’t stop because I don’t love wearing a ton of other jewelry, so they make anything look good. Graphic tee and shorts?
