Some days you wanna go girly and some days you wanna add a little edge. Today I decided to break out my leather pants and mix it up a little bit! These half leather / half ponte pants are so super comfortable that it was the perfect choice for a busy day with Dylan at the science museum followed by lunch out at his favorite restaurant (he loves Fadi’s Mediterranean Grill — is that weird?) and a last-minute Target run. We started potty training around here this week and let’s just say it’s been a learning experience already! My original plan of using a toilet insert on top of our current toilet along with training pants quickly degenerated to me going out to and buying a toddler toilet seat and disposable potty-training diapers. Let’s just say we’ve had an accident already and cleanup was not fun!
Anyways, I thought I’d also share a little tip on how I keep my blouses from gaping open at the button holes, especially around the bust. I’ve been sticking a small strip of Hollywood Fashion Tape in the space between the buttons where it tends to gape the most and just pressing the shirt closed as it would normally rest in place. The fashion tape is slim, discreet, and super easy to apply! It’s such a simple solution, but I thought I’d mention it anyways as sometimes I don’t think of such things until somebody points it out. Hope this is helpful for you!

Love those pants! I've tried using double sided tape, and it still doesn't always stay put! Button up shirts can be so hard to find that fit correctly!
Love those bottoms – I cant believe they are from Target!
That fashion tape is the best – my bridesmaids and I used it at my wedding and it held all day long!

Oh good to know! Thanks Robin!
You look badass in the pants. I like the way you styled it! Yes I use double sided tape all the time for my gaping buttonholes and other things as well! Super funny thing was that I was planning to do a post about that too!
