It’s not often that Adrian and I go on date nights these days but yesterday we were able to enjoy an evening out with one of our close friends — it was a last hurrah before their first baby is scheduled to arrive on Monday! We kept it low key with dinner and a movie at AMC Theatres; we had all been wanting to watch the latest Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part I movie and it was the perfect way to relax after a long week!
Can you believe that Adrian and I have only been to the movie theaters twice since Dylan was born? I was surprised at all the changes and technology that had been added since the last time I was there. Assigned seats? How awesome that you don’t have to sit in the theater for 20 minutes before the movie starts just to reserve your seat?! I was also amazed at the multiple banks of Coca-Cola Freestyle machines that have so many drink choices and customization options. The guys, being the nerds that they are, started talking about the computer chips and technology that went into the machines, but us girls went straight for our drinks! I wanted something a little fruity and sweet after dinner so I went with a Minute Maid Lemonade in the fruit punch flavor. It hit the spot for my sweet tooth!
My friend was also amazed at all the different choices and was especially excited to see Seagram’s Ginger Ale and chose the vanilla flavor! I love that AMC Theatres with CocaCola Freestyle Machines offer non-caffeinated drinks and all the different fruit-flavors that come with each selection are such a fun bonus! With over 100 flavors to choose from, there’s is guaranteed to be something for everyone.
These prego mamas had a wonderful time and it was definitely a treat to enjoy a night out with our friends before the arrival of their little one in just a couple days!
