Anybody else always stop by the cosmetics section whenever they’re picking up groceries? 🙋  I love walking down the aisles, seeing what’s new, and of course taking advantage of any sales to stock up on favorites.  Kroger just started their latest Beauty Event and just spend $15 to save $5 instantly at checkout!  Sooo many amazing products are included and it’s also a great time to pick up a few new products to try out too.  Below is a full list (with a few of the products that I’m loving bolded!):

With fall around the corner, I love having a few new products on my vanity as well.  I had a little fun fall makeup sesh the other day with these new goodies and couldn’t wait to share some of my favorite finds with you!

Maybelline Total Temptation Shadow + Highlight Palette

You guys know how much I love makeup palettes so I couldn’t wait to try this one out from Maybelline!  The Total Temptation palette has everything that you need for both eyeshadow and highlight with colors ranging from warm to cool.  I almost always go with warm colors for low-key everyday daytime looks and will venture into the cooler colors when I’m going for dramatic nighttime looks.  The combination of shades in this palette are gorgeous, and I love that it’s all already coordinated for you to make it fool proof!  In my fall makeup look above, I used three of the different eyeshadows from the left-hand “warm” side of colors (top: all over eyelid, third: upper crease / transition, fourth: outer crease) as well as the middle golden color as my cheek highlight.  The colors aren’t too shimmery and blend together beautifully.  The powders are on the softer side so I did have to use a few applications to get the pigmentation that I wanted, but I just love how it turned out!

Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Polish

I love the durability of gel nail polish and was actually so surprised to see that there was a drugstore option that didn’t require any special tools or UV lights.  Sally Hansen always has the best range of colors and I love the dark vampy shades when it comes to transitioning for Fall!  I was happy to hear that the Miracle Gel Polish line was as easy as a 2-step process (just polish and top coat — no base coat needed and the top coat is enough to cure the gel!).  Plus, the polishes are all phthalate free and paraben free, something I always look for when choosing nail polishes.

The polishes applied beautifully (even with my shaky hands!) and I’m excited to see how long this gel polish lasts!

L’Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara

This is my absolute favorite drugstore mascara and one that I cannot get enough of!  I actually had a tube of this mascara in my car makeup bag (which unfortunately was stolen last week or else you’d be seeing it in pictures here), but will definitely be picking up a new tube now that it’s on sale!  The Lash Paradise mascara is unbeatable for adding volume for short lashes and actually keeps my lashes curled too as my lashes are naturally stick straight and very short!  I also can apply up to 3 coats and don’t have any issues with clumping or fallout — highly recommend!

Neutrogena Oil-Free Cleansing Wipes

I also swear by makeup remover wipes for nearly everything so of course I picked up a pack of the Neutrogena Cleansing Wipes.  The grapefruit scent is refreshing and I love that the wipes themselves are also on the thicker side!
