As we’re heading into the new year, I wanted to take a minute to reflect on 2015. This was a big year for us as we completed our family with the addition of our baby Kennedy and while it certainly hasn’t been easy juggling two little ones at the same time, we couldn’t imagine our life any other way! It was the year I became a full-time stay-at-home mom and I really tried to soak in every minute with this little family of mine. I loved that I was here for all of Kennedy’s firsts — from her hand clapping and hello / goodbye waves, to her first taste of baby food and finally to crawling on her own. Dylan turned three and has become the most silly and adventurous little boy that always makes me (and everyone else!) smile. This past summer we also went on our first big family vacation to Maui, Hawaii and even to this day, Dylan talks about the next time we can go to the beach. While there were definitely our share of hard days parenting two little ones, there were far more incredible days filled with happy memories that I will never forget.
As for the blog, 2015 was also a year filled with some really cool collaborations and fun projects (Target, Express, and Zappos to name a few). I was an ambassador for Medela, started a weekly linkup with Sandy A La Mode, and even hit my goal of hitting 10k followers on Instagram! None of this would have been possible without your support! I am forever thankful for where this blog has taken me and the fact that it has brought me to you, my most wonderful readers!
So here’s a nostalgic goodbye to 2015 and a happy hello to 2016! I’m setting a couple big goals for myself this year and I can’t wait to see what else the new year brings!
