The holidays are such a special time of the year and it’s been even more meaningful now as a parent to enjoy it through my kids’ eyes. Every weekend is packed with opportunities to enjoy the season — from tree lightings to Christmas mazes and of course, a visit to Santa at his workshop! And let’s not forget that I’m usually trying to fit in an errand or two of my own too! I’ve realized that it’s absolutely essential to have baby gear that can keep up with your life and the Baby Jogger City Tour LUX has been my stroller of choice for the past few weeks!
The Baby Jogger City Tour LUX sets the standard when it comes to versatility. There are five different ways to ride, and the stroller adapts for use from babies at birth up to 45 pounds! The regular toddler seat can be both forward facing and rear facing depending on your kids’ preference, and the seat can even fully recline for those inevitable times when stroller naps happen. For smaller babies, there are even options for a bassinet (omg how I would’ve loved this when I had a newborn!) as well as infant car seat attachments. If you have an older sibling as we do, the Baby Jogger City Tour LUX has the option for a glider board to easily convert the stroller into a double!
A big concern for me when it comes to strollers is that I need one that’s easy to maneuver, single-handedly preferably! Crowds can be crazy this time of year, so having a stroller that gets me in and out with two kids in tow is key. The stroller features many of the things that I love about Baby Jogger strollers, including the handbrake (so key for the summertime when you’re wearing flip-flops as foot brakes can hurt!) and super easy one-hand fold that auto-locks. For newborns, the one-of-a-kind pram accessory even folds in half while attached to the stroller — no additional steps needed!
With all the features of the Baby Jogger City Tour LUX stroller, I sometimes forget that it’s also ultra-compact. The stroller is lightweight (only 19 lbs) and even has both an integrated carrying strap as well as a carry bag to allow it to be worn like a backpack! It’s perfect if you have travel in your holiday plans as it even meets carry-on requirements for many airlines.
I literally LOL’ed when I saw this picture, but there’s no better way to show you just how extensive the 3-panel canopy is. We’ve also been using it to block wind in the wintertime, but the UV 50+ shade will also be much appreciated in the summertime as the heat can get pretty intense here in Texas.
The Baby Jogger City Tour LUX stroller is easily one of my favorite strollers to date. We’ll be flying to El Paso in a couple weeks for Christmas and there’s no doubt that this stroller will be coming along for the ride. Having the right baby gear makes all the difference, especially this time of year when it’s all about just enjoying your time as a family, so keep on with your adventures and check out the newest Baby Jogger City Tour LUX available now at BabyJogger.com!
