The most wonderful time of the year is here!! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale has finally kicked off and it’s seriously the one sale that I look forward to the most every year (even more than Black Friday!). It’s the only time of the year when Nordstrom brings in brand-new arrivals from all the best brands (low-end to designer!) and then marked down with deep discounts that are sometimes 40% off and more! The catch is that it’s for a limited time only — Early Access is from July 12 through July 19 and is open for Nordstrom Card Members only (apply here if you’re not a member yet!), while Public Access starts on July 20th. Prices go back up to full price on August 6th!
This is a sale I seriously plan my schedule around every year and I actually have stayed up until 4am the past couple nights shopping the sale and working to create content for you all (so sorry this post is coming a little late as I’ve just fallen asleep before I’ve been able to finish — the struggle of juggling work and blog!). Without further ado, let’s get to sharing the best of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!
TIP: Pieces have been selling out right and left but restocks have also been happening. My tip is that if you see something that you like, check out asap as I’ve already missed out on several items just from waiting!

Sizing: XS – the scoop neck comes down a little low on me and I have it clipped up ~1″. I reordered in an XXS to see if it fits better.
Thoughts: This top is a surprising favorite and I just love the lightweight, gauze-y fabric. It has a beautiful drape on its own and just feels so luxe! This is a great piece worn on its own or layered under a jacket come Fall!
Item: Leith Tie Front Pant
Price: $21.90, originally $34.00
Sizing: Sized down once to an XXS and would say the waist fits perfectly but the length is a bit long on me (I’m 5′ tall). I have these folded under ~2″ and plan to get them hemmed and probably slimmed a bit throughout the pant leg as well.
Thoughts: These are great pants for work and I love the neutral color that’s also perfect for the Fall. The front knot adds an edgy detail while the pleats keep it business professional. They come up high to the natural waistline and I find that they really accentuate your curves! The pant legs are nice and roomy too, making it a great option if you have bigger thighs.

Thoughts: This is a great shirt for the office and I love the crisp blue / white stripes. The sleeves do have a slit at the cuff which I love along with the flattering v-neckline. I personally found this top to run a bit big and am thinking about repurchasing in a size XXS to see if that works better!

Thoughts: I wasn’t sure if I would like this longer duster-style cardigan but I’m kinda obsessed with this one! In my opinion, the side slits are what made the difference as it gives the cardigan so much movement and the longer length is surprisingly elongating. The rich burgundy color is perfect for the Fall and I just find that it really elevates even the most simple of outfits!

Thoughts: I fell in love with the front twist details and the bright coral color of this sweater! This is a piece that is actually reversible as the twist detail would be so cute in the back as well! I found the sweater to run a bit big on me in the front and so paired it with my favorite bralette (I own in white, copper, nude, and ballet pink shades!). The material is a breathable waffle-knit and would be great for layering!

Thoughts: I had high hopes for this top but sadly found it a bit too big and flouncy on me. The surplice opening gaped a bit too much (I didn’t see any sort of closure but maybe I missed it?) and the bottom hem hit a little high at my natural waistline. The fit just seemed a little off on me so I passed.

Thoughts: Again, in love with the print of this skirt but did find it to be a bit too long on me. The ruffles and asymmetrical hem make it a piece that has a lot of visual interest but I’d say it can be a bit overwhelming on petites.

Thoughts: Definitely a trend with the front twist / criss-cross details and this top is a great piece that can be worn casually yet has just the right amount of “dressiness” with the front detailing. The ribbed fabric is super flattering and this is a great basic to have in your closet!

Thoughts: Over-the-knee boots are my obsession and I’ve been on the hunt for a cute pair in a lighter shade for the Summer / Fall transition months. This pair comes up right above my knee (petite-friendly!), has a very walkable heel, and a cute stitch detail. They come in both regular and wide calf although I personally found that there was a good bit of space even in the regular calf style.

Had to share a close-up of these Baublebar earrings as they are a must-have from this years Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! The duo set is a steal at $33.90 and what you can’t tell is that these earring are actually interchangeable! The top stud portion actually detaches from the bottom hoop portion so you can mix and math whether you want the pave hoops or not! You can see these earrings in most of my outfits above and I love that they’re not too big to be distracting nor are they heavy on your ears either!
