Both kids are back in school and I’m finally heading back to the office today — it feels like things are finally getting back to normal around here! I was lucky enough to have up to 2 weeks of time off to recover from abdominoplasty surgery (a post will be coming your way as it seemed like many of you were interested in this topic!) but I’ve actually been recovering pretty quickly and have been given the ok to take it easy given that I do have a pretty sedentary desk job. Let’s see how it goes!
You guys know how much I love a classic tweed blazer and I love that this blue-colored one is just a bit different from your norm. I find that SheIn clothes tend to run a little smaller and thus are ideal if you’re more petite (otherwise I do recommend sizing up to ensure a good fit!). I’m wearing XS here with no alterations and this tweed blazer has been one of my favorite layering pieces this season (I actually have this one on my wishlist for spring!). Dress up this tweed blazer with trousers for work or with jeans for weekend — or mix it up and pair it with some mules for something that’s a chic mix of classic yet trendy! I can’t get enough of the mules trend right now (seriously, so convenient that I can slip them on hands-free, feels like I’m wearing slippers, yet still looks put-together!). The trend can be a bit on the masculine side so I personally look for styles that have feminine details such as floral print, embroidery stitching, or even a statement bow. The fur lining on this pair really sets them apart and again it’s one of those trends Gucci started that has really taken off (I do have to say, Gucci seriously did this one right for spring!).
