I had one of those “I have nothing to wear” moments in my closet last night. A closet full of clothes and yet nothing to wear? “Garbage”, as Adrian would say. And so I went digging. I went looking for items that hadn’t been worn in several months and almost gasped when I ran my hands across this sleeveless tank. I bought it back over Christmas {yes, a sleeveless tank bought over the dead of winter} and had completely forgotten about it until just now. Shame on me.
Since this top is so poofy, I had to pair it with something slimming on the bottom. These skinny white jeans did just the trick! And, since I was already on a streak of pulling out the closet oldies, I found an old statement necklace that I bought over last Thanksgiving during a crazy Black Friday sale. At the time, this was one of my first statement necklaces. But now, it looks too small to be a statement! I guess as my taste for statement necklaces has developed over the months, so has the size of the actual pieces I end up adding to my collection. That or maybe I’m just getting more adventurous in my fashion choices? I’d like to think the latter. 🙂

The top is the same color from top to bottom. The lighting was really bad where these pics were taken so it might look a little darker at the bottom for that reason. :/

the pairing of a loose top & slim pants is one of my favorites! love the silver gray of the blouse with the white pants, i personally can't wear white pants, because i'll end up spilling like a hot dog on it. lol

I love the pleating on your top and the balance of the volume with the white skinnies! Does the top have an ombre effect at the bottom or is it just me?
it's not supposed to have an ombre effect. i think the lighting was just kinda funky where i took the pictures so it looks darker on the bottom than it really is.
Your legs look really long in those jeans Kileen! And I love the top- the color is so pretty!
