If you would’ve asked me a month ago if I could see myself in a moto jacket, I would’ve flat out said “no way”. My style has always been feminine and chic, and the toughness of moto jackets just didn’t fit in that mold. Now fast forward to today. I’ve found myself really loving the moto jacket trend, especially when I see it paired with soft and feminine pieces underneath. The metal and leather of the jacket add just the right amount of urban coolness to really add another dimension to the outfit.
Today’s outfit is actually a remix of a previous post with the same “chirpy” dress. I think the leather jacket combined with the tall patent black platform pumps definitely gave the girlie dress a bit of edge. I really liked this look and I’m glad I stepped outside of my comfort zone a bit to try something new.
Have any of you guys ever had a trend grow on you so much that you ended up wearing it and loving it?

Cute outfit, I have always loved the moto jacket look. I bought a few myself in the last year.
I think the trend that grew on me most is the boyfriend blazer over dresses look…also the shorts with tights look. I have started to unexpectedly put together outfits with these looks recently.
@Elle oh, I definitely agree with the shorts with tights look. I used to think it was a really weird look until I saw it paired with cute patterned tights and then it was something I totally wanted to wear!
You look great!
The skinny jeans thing, and even leggings grew on me! I just bought my first pairs a couple months ago.
Curls and Pearls
@curls-and-pearls I totally agree. I never thought I'd wear skinny jeans either as I'm so paranoid about my muscular legs looking big, but now my two favorite pairs of jeans are skinny jeans!
The moto jacket looks cute on you! I agree with curls and pearls about skinny jeans- definitely a trend I didn't like at first and now I love!
Could you live without jewelry?
