Hi friends! How was your weekend? We had a weekend of incredible weather where it just seemed like a crime to spend any of that time indoors. Dylan must’ve felt the same way as he only napped for 1.5 hours this afternoon (versus of his normal 2.5 – 3 hour nap) and woke up babbling and ready to go! I was still in the middle of trying to finish some work but ended up just throwing on a few comfy, slouchy pieces and headed out the door to meet up with some friends.
There are just some weekends when I feel a bit lazy about getting dressed up and my outfit will usually involve a loose-fitting top paired with distressed boyfriend jeans but then topped off with a pair of statement shoes — whether it be a pair of colorful flats or 4″ high stilettos (flats when I know I’ll be running around and heels otherwise). Shoes are just such an easy go-to when I want to look put together and yet don’t want to put any effort in. Anybody else ever feel that way? 🙂

Hi Kileen and Jessica. This is a temporary solution but I use double sided tape and it works! I have read that some tailors can sew up the gaping buttons too, but I can imagine it'd be too hard to slip the tops over my head. 🙂
