I may have gotten a little carried away with pictures today but this skirt had me swooning. I’ve been wanting to add a full midi skirt to my closet for awhile now but was always a bit wary of whether I could style it without making myself look even shorter. This skirt did not disappoint (no hem job needed either!) and I was surprised to find that the length hit perfectly at just below the knee. At first I found the skirt a bit too poufy and ironed down the pleats a bit, but looking back I actually think it could be a little more full and will probably undo the ironing work. Bring on the volume!
I’m yearning for Spring already and this skirt has me in the mood for pastels and brighter colors. We have a family tradition of going to the Dallas Arboretum each year during the tulip blooms and I cannot wait to go back this year. That being said, my outfit may have been a bit inspired my this favorite flower of mine. 🙂
Meanwhile stay tuned for a tutorial post on re-creating this makeup look!
