We had the most glorious of summer-like weather today! It was sunny yet breezy and everything just seemed a little bit brighter. I’ve been loving the look so maxi skirts lately and have admittedly been stocking up on a few after having avoided this style for so long. This skirt in particular looked almost like a slightly long midi skirt on the model so I decided to take a chance to see whether I could pull it off as a maxi. I love the lightweight chiffon layers that catch the wind and the black / white pattern is so versatile when it comes to styling!
These shoes were somewhat of an impulse buy when I noticed them on JustFab a few weeks ago. It was my first time ordering from the site and I’ve been crushing on the look of caged sandals lately. Unfortunately they’re almost a half-size too big and after taking a poll on Instagram, I had decided to return them. It was only then that I discovered the return policy only allowed exchanges for the same item — what?? Since I had already purchased the smallest size, this basically meant I was stuck with them! Despite feeling like I had been duped, I stuck a foot insert into each shoe and decided to see if I could make the best of it. When life gives you lemons, you figure out to to wear it on your feet, am I right? 🙂
