How is it June already? I feel like this year has flown by and I can’t believe that Dylan’s second birthday is in a month! I wasn’t expecting my days as a full-time stay-at-home-mom to be busier than when I was working full-time and being a mom, but it definitely is. I’m loving every minute of it and learning so much more about Dylan in the process, but time certainly does fly by even faster now!
I’m on a midi skirt kick right now and have been wanting something similar to this pink one for awhile now. I noticed this one on Choies a couple weeks ago and couldn’t wait to try my hand at styling it! The skirt is made out of a neoprene-like material and I love how it gives the skirt so much shape on its own. For my outfit, I went with a striped shirt that added just the right amount of additional color and the sheer mesh yoke added the perfect feminine touch.
We had ourselves a lazy Sunday afternoon here (which included a mini afternoon nap for me even!) and ended with a little grill out on the patio for dinner. It was the perfect way to close out our weekend. Hope yours was a great one too!

I'm sure you've done a post on this before, but just in case you haven't I would love to get some tips from you on buying and styling midi skirts for a petit frame! I want one so bad, but I'm afraid it will just cut off my legs and make me look super stumpy!
Yes that sounds like a great idea! 🙂
You look A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!
You could seriously double for Wendy from Wendy's Lookbook in this outfit! You look gorgeous, and I can't decide if I love that top or the skirt more! Nicely styled, lady! Carylee | morepiecesofme.com
Dylan is adorable!!!! I love that you have begun to incorporate your daily life notes into this blog, in addition to all the fashion posts. It definitely is a nice personal touch to this blog. Or is it perhaps I am a mom myself now? Haha!
