A Custom Skirt for that Perfect Twirl

For me it’s alway been a struggle to find clothes that fit perfectly off the rack.  Over the years, I’ve learned to stick mostly to shops that offer petite sizing or with labels that run on the smaller side.  Now that I’ve also had two babies and have suffered from a moderate case of diastasis recti, my midsection is also now one of my problem areas that I’ve found difficult to get back in shape.  As such, I’m usually having to suck in with skirts that don’t offer any stretch in the waistband and let me just say, it’s tiring!  

I was actually really excited when eShakti offered a chance to custom order a piece from their latest spring collection.  Finally, I could customize a skirt that had a little more room in the waist and not have to size up so that the rest of the proportions were off!  I fell in love with this flirty skirt and love the fact that the customization process also takes into consideration my height so that the skirt is created to hit exactly at the knees as I had wanted.  There are additional customization options that allow you to change the length of the skirt and even remove the embroidery or pockets if you like.  The part that always amazes me is that you can make as many customization changes as you like and it’s only a $9.95 flat fee!  

I picked up this statement necklace during the latest Stella & Dot sale and love the mix of mint and coral spring colors!  As a former Stella & Dot stylist, I’ve always been impressed with the versatile design of their pieces and with this particular Riviera necklace, the petals at the bottom can actually be unclipped to create a different look should the mood strike!  The teal beads in the necklace happened to match up perfectly with the skirt and I added my coral suede pumps to tie all the spring colors together!
