Spring has sprung and my love of floral print is going strong! This shirt was a slightly different take on the print as it has a bit of a antiqued, old-school feel to it and I love how the print is just on the sides. The darker shades of red and purple against the white were the perfect way to transition from winter into spring. I dressed it up with a pencil skirt but I could easily see it untucked and dressed down with a pair of jeans for the weekend!
I’ve also been experimenting with pairing a contrasting pair of shoes with a few of my outfits lately and I switched into these blue suede shoes at the last minute. If there’s anything that Dylan has taught me, it’s that you may just like it when you mix two unexpected things together… Like the other day when Dylan mixed some leftover pinto beans into the scrambled eggs I made him? Yeah, it actually wasn’t half bad!

That is such a nice shirt, and the blue shoes match the necklace quite well too 🙂

That blouse and skirt were made for each other, so pretty!
Love the outfit!! I really love the blouse.
I've never purchased J. Crew pencil skirts. I'm a petite 5'2" Asian girl and about 105 lbs., what size do you think I should get?
Hm, well I'm 5'0" and 108 lbs. I'm wearing the size 00P and while it is a little bit big around the waist, it's not big enough that it's an issue for me. A skinny belt will usually fix any issues and I really love the classic fit! I think the 00P should work on you! 🙂
Thanks, Kileen. I'll have to give the skirt a try since I've read so many wonderful reviews about it.
Hopefully they'll fit you well! They are an investment piece for me but I can honestly say that I have several J.Crew pencil skirts from 3 years ago that I still wear constantly and still look like new. They're worth it especially if you can catch them on sale!
Beautiful look! I never ordered from SheInside but really like your floral blouse.
This outfit would be great for the office.
