It was absolutely beautiful weather today in Dallas and I wanted to wear a light, breezy outfit to mark the last official day of summer. I’ve been loving prints lately and this bird print skirt is definitely a new favorite item for me. The skirt has a hi-low / dipped hem that is very subtle, making it wearable all throughout the fall/winter season as well!
Adrian and I went up to McKinney for the afternoon for a Steak 101 class at a local farm-to-market store called Local Yocal. I’m not a big beef eater, but the class was great in that we were able to sample all different kinds of beef like kobe, wagyu, grassfed, Angus, and learn about the differences between each kind. I had no idea there was such a big taste difference between wagyu and grassfed beef! I loved the fact that the shop owners knew the cows and how they were raised and could tell us the history behind each one. Needless to say, Adrian and I ended up buying about 15 lbs of beef after the class and have visions of juicy steaks in our future!
