Blooming cherry blossom trees is one of the most beautiful sights that I look forward to all year. There’s just something about seeing stretches of trees topped with fluffy pink clusters and the gentle wafting of the blooms as they blow in the wind. Adrian and I made a special trip out to Japan 5 years ago just to catch the cherry blossom season and it’s something I will never forget (we still have pictures of this trip hanging all over our walls!). Dallas does have a few white cherry blossom trees scattered about but unfortunately the bipolar weather this year meant a blooming season that lasted about a week, during which it was freezing cold and rainy… sad face.
When I saw this pretty cherry blossom shirt, the decision was obvious. I’ve had both my share of hits (this, this, this, and this) and misses (just this) with items from Choies, but this shirt is a new favorite and a definite hit! I love that it can be dressed both up or down, and the mint collar and cuffs give it a subtle sophistication without looking overdone. The shirt actually came with a matching mint mini skirt but it turned out to be just a little too mini for my style. This shirt though. You just can’t go wrong with pretty cherry blossoms!
