It’s a GIRL! Adrian and I couldn’t be more excited to find out that we’re having a baby girl this time! I actually had a blood test done at 14 weeks as part of my fetal screening where they were able to determine the sex of the baby via DNA (so crazy!) and then had a full anatomy sonogram a couple weeks ago (at 18 weeks) where we were also able to visually see that we were having a girl. This pregnancy has been a complete 180 from my first pregnancy that I kinda had a hunch all along that we were having a girl, but it’s wonderful news to have my suspicions confirmed!
Adrian and I have been thinking about girl names already, but for now we’re calling her “mei mei”, which is Chinese for little sister. Dylan, in his current 2-year old exploration of sounds, likes to call her “mei bee” and I think he’s starting to understand that there’s a little person inside my belly now that he can sometimes feel the kicks when he’s sitting in my lap. I’m soaking up every minute of this pregnancy right now (as it will most likely be our last). Thank you again for following along on our journey with us so far!

Congrats Kileen! How exciting! 🙂
I am so happy for you, Kileen, it is wonderful to have a boy and a girl! When I was pregnant it wasn't so common to find out the baby's gender and I actually never wanted to know – although I was absolutely sure that my first child was going to be a boy and then my second a girl. And I was right!
You look absolutely beautiful in this dress and the scarf is fabulous with it.
All the very best for you!

Absolutely love this outfit Kileen! Thinking of ordering this shirt, wanted your opinion on the quality of the shirt before I place the order.
Oh congratulations, how exciting!! Also, you look stunning!! x
Aww, congrats! So exciting to have a little sister for your little boy! 🙂

Congratulations to all of you! I'm glad it seems like this pregnancy may be treating you well 🙂 And you look stunning, your scarf+dress combination had me fooled into thinking that was just a particularly lovely dress.
I knew it! (: When you mentioned doing a gender reveal, I had a pretty good feeling that it was going to be a girl. Big congratulations to you and your growing family! (:

Oh congrats Kileen! I love my sons with all of my heart and soul, but there is nothing like having a daughter. It is so special. And you look absolutely radiant!
thanks Cheresa! I am still practicing yoga but only once a week now. I've mostly been doing crossfit as it's been easier for me at this point and have been going about 4 times a week. and no secret really as far as what i'm doing. just eating as healthy as possible, working out, getting lots of rest, and drinking lots of water. 🙂
i really like the shirt and think it's a nice quality as the material is nice and thick. but, the blouse is a bit roomy in both the torso and arms so keep that in mind when you're ordering (i scrunched up the sleeves and held them in place with a clear hair tie). hope that helps!
Yay! That's so exciting! I'm sure she'll be just as stylish as you are! 🙂
Congratulations, Kileen! Such wonderful news! I'm jealous as I wanted a girl, but found out we're having a boy. Girls clothing are so much cuter! Lols! I'm still excited and just ultimately hope my hubby and I have a healthy baby. Love your scarf!!
How exciting. I am excited for y'all.
Congrats Kileen, a boy-girl combo is so wonderful!
I was a little disappointed when I learned that my first was a boy, but honestly i'm so glad that i ended up with a boy now! they're so much easier to handle and incredibly fun! now i can't imagine having it any other way. congrats to you! 🙂
Congrats! I was right about you having a girl! 🙂
