It’s cooled down to the mid-80s now in Texas {hallelujah for a cold front}! I couldn’t have been happier to start wearing some fall fashion finally. I picked up this cargo jacket from LOFT recently as they were having a 30% off sale and I can’t say no to a great military addition to my wardrobe!
You can probably tell that jackets and blazers have recently become my favorite add-on piece to help transition into the cooler weather, and I’ve been gravitating towards ones that are shorter and more fitted {rather than the roomy boyfriend fit}. I love the puffy shoulder detailing of this jacket as well as the ribbon cinching around the waist — it’s especially perfect for petites who need to define that waistline! My only gripe is that the sleeves are a bit roomy and I’m still on the fence as far as whether I want to do some alterations to fix it… But either way, I love the way layers over my summer looks to help move into the fall season!

I love that you say it "cooled down" when talking about the mid-80s! Here in Oregon I wouldn't wear jeans unless it was below 70!

hm, the bag is about 15" wide so if your laptop is small it could fit (exact dimensions are 15" L x 5" W x 10.5" H). the handle is pretty sturdy, but i would also be careful depending on how heavy your laptop is…
I was thinking about getting that jacket in Navy! Then I remembered that I had 3 other military inspired jackets so I put it back and hmmm what's a 4th one? The jacket looks fantastic on you and I like how you styled it with a bow front blouse! I think the fit is quite good, I would save the money on altering the jacket 🙂
