The hot weather has returned and we’re back in the 100s again {this is Texas after all}. Since the summer weather isn’t going anywhere, I decided to deck myself out in fun sherbet colors!
I also did a little lipstick shopping this weekend and picked up this awesome orange lipstick. I love the pop of color and it’s so much fun to wear on the weekends {we’ll see if I have the guts to wear it to work}!

i actually didn't have that much extra slack with this belt cause I had cut it short before. but i knotted it anyways. 🙂 i think i just like the look of a knotted belt sometimes to break up the look of an outfit.

The orange lipstick looks great with this outfit! I think the sherbet shades help tone it down a bit. I'd be curious to see how bright it would be against a neutral outfit. Perhaps ease into it with a casual Friday outfit? 🙂

Yes, they're great! My only complaint is that they really wrinkle after washing so you have to iron them, but I feel like they're a cheaper version of the J. Crew pink shorts!
