Adrian and I took our time coming back from Austin last weekend and took a quick little detour around Lady Bird Lake. Back when I lived in Austin and we were still in our dating, Adrian and I actually used always to start our weekend mornings with a run around the lake. It was definitely nice to go back and take a stroll just for nostalgia’s sake.
I wore this simple tank and jeans outfit as it was still a hot and balmy 90ish degrees. Although not specifically maternity, this tank has been a favorite of mine to wear during my pregnancy as it’s simple, lightweight, and subtly flatters the bump. I had a 22-week sonogram a couple days ago and baby girl is already measuring in at 1 lb 1oz! Everything looked perfect and it was exciting to see her face as well as little bits of baby fat starting to build on her frame.
I also started chiropractic adjustments this week as baby girl has been in a breech / transverse position the entire time so far and I’m hoping to encourage her to turn in the next few weeks. The chiropractic I go to (Dr. Ruth Durkee, for anyone that’s local) actually specializes in the Webster technique and I know that with the last pregnancy it really helped my pregnancy all around. Dylan was also breech the entire first half of the pregnancy and after 3 adjustments he decided to flip head down and pretty much stayed there the rest of the time. Here’s hoping that the adjustments go as well this time around too!
Hope you’re having a great week. 🙂
