Hello and happy Friday! I’m starting a new Friday beauty talk series and am so excited to kick it off with a review of one of a beauty tool that has made a huge difference in my skin! In short, Clarisonic has done it again. You’re probably familiar with the Clarisonic as a sonic cleansing device and I’ve been using mine consistently for the last 7 years. Back then, the Clarisonic completely changed the way I cleansed my face for the better so I was especially thrilled to find that they were going beyond just cleansing and into anti-aging with their latest Clarisonic Smart Profile Uplift. Launched in February of this year, I’ve been using this device now for the past 8 weeks and couldn’t wait to share the huge improvement that I’m seeing — you can see below that my skin is noticeably more lifted and firmer around my jawline!

The Clarisonic Smart Profile Face and Body Uplift Set includes the white smart profile device and interchangeable face and body cleansing heads, but the real standout is the Uplift firming massage head (available separately)! The attachment is a soft coated silicone and when used, applies 27,000 micro-lifting massages that help boost collagen production! I love that the massage head is flexible enough to be used with any sort of cream, lotion, serum, or even mask (although I would recommend something that doesn’t absorb too quickly). I personally have been using it as the final step in my skincare routine after my lotion to help the products better penetrate into my skin. It’s gentle enough to use twice a day and for me, even if I’m in a rush I’ll run it for a quick minute along my jawline just to target my trouble spot! The massage head is a bit funny-shaped at first, but I found that the grooves are perfect for adjusting to the contours of the face while the prongs allow it to glide smoothly across the skin.
The entire process only takes 3 minutes and recommends 30-second intervals in 6 areas: decollete, chin and jawline (30 seconds each side), cheeks (30 seconds each), and finishing on the forehead. Remember to always move upwards and outwards so that skin is lifted!
Start with the neck and decollete.
Move up to the jawline and chin.
Then cheeks and forehead.
Meanwhile, the Clarisonic Smart Profile handheld device itself is also quite an improvement from the previous generation as this model has smart microchip technology that allows it to automatically adjust to the optimal cleansing or firming frequency. The brush heads included in the set are thus also smart enabled. There are 4 speeds as well as a TURBO option for cleansing the body. If, however, you’re only interested in the massage head attachment, it’s available separately and can fit into any existing Clarisonic device! I definitely recommend the Uplift massage attachment if you’re looking for something that you can do regularly to help restore and maintain that youthfulness. Given how popular the Clarisonic became with its revolutionary introduction of the sonic cleansing brush, I have no doubt that this anti-aging device will be the next must-have item to add to your skincare repertoire!

the effect will be a bit different as the Smart Profile device actually auto-adjusts from gentle to deep vibrations based on feedback from the attachments. For optimal results, I would recommend the Smart Profile device in addition to the head attachment. Good news is that if you’re a Sephora VIB or Rouge member, it’s on sale right now! 🙂

Does it help with wrinkles?? You dont look like you have any! 🙂 but wondering if it will help with my wrinkles and what i consider sagging around my mouth area.
Hi Beverly! The tool will help serums penetrate better so it should work if you use the tool in conjunction with skincare that targets wrinkles. Hope that helps!
