I decided to try something different today. I put the bows, lace, and pencil skirts aside for a day and challenged myself with something completely out of my comfort zone. Sometimes you just need a change of pace, ya know? I don’t normally wear cropped tops, studded belts, or caged gladiator sandals, but here we are. I felt like a little rebel in this outfit. And it was awesome.
I couldn’t help but slip a few patriotic pictures in. Happy 4th!! 🙂

I love it! I always try to bring a little edge to my outfits myself, as I'm not such a girly-girl, and I am so digging those shoes – if only my feet were a smidge larger and my feet could handle that kind of height for the entire day (yet again bemoaning the meager selection in size 3 and 4 shoes…) And you pull off the cropped shirt perfectly, which I'm not sure I would be brave enough to do. 🙂 But the pink in the belt and the 'love' on the tee still show your girlie side (and some color) – awesomely done!
