Just because it’s getting colder doesn’t mean that I can’t wear bright colors!  I love this bright melon tulip skirt but did find it somewhat hard to style at first.  Since it is so poofy, I usually opted for fitted tops that would help balance out the volume on the bottom.  But, today I felt adventurous and went with an over-sized top and surprisingly enough, it actually kinda worked!

I love how the v-shape of the top creates an subtle hourglass shape with the poofed out skirt.  And while the top and skirt didn’t have any similar colors to create a pairing, I luckily had a blue-toned skinny belt that was the perfect accessory to tie everything together.
