We had a chilly and wet weekend but now it’s starting to feel like spring again! I seem to have caught every bug that the kids have brought home from school so I’m done with being sick this season too. I find myself transitioning into brighter colors once the weather warms up and I fell in love with this skirt’s colorful stripes instantly! Because I wore this to work the other day, I toned down the rest of the outfit with a simple white blouse and a green cardigan that played up the pops of green in the skirt.
Meanwhile, funny story about this pics. I took these at the Shops at Legacy and was only able to take 4 pictures before I had to talk to security. It had been awhile since I took pictures at this shopping center so even though I had contacted and received approval from management over a year ago, somehow my name was no longer on the list. Needless to say my photoshoot was cut short but I figure I would just make the most of the pictures I did get! #bloggerstruggles

I just got this skirt last month, but I haven’t been able to wear it yet because of the cool weather and being sick. Your photos look great, even if you were only able to get a few in!

This skirt is so fabulous! It is super bright and so cheerful. Great outfit! I am confused though…you have to get permission to take photos at an outdoor shopping mall? I never would have thought that and I would have just started taking photos! Wouldn’t I have been embarrassed?! Ha. You did get some great photos though even with being cut short.

i had it happen the first time a couple years ago at another outdoor shopping center and I’ve talked to another Dallas fashion photographer who has run into the same issue. It is super embarrassing! Most shopping centers are privately owned and the management doesn’t like photos of the storefronts taken in particular. I just make sure to get approval before I go take pictures at a particular shopping center so I don’t run into the same situation. It’s funny because these days most shopping centers actually have a “fashion blogger” approval list!
This skirt is SO SO fun!

What a fun skirt! I love how you styled. Really, you can’t take pictures at a mall? I’ve never a heard of such a thing.
Most places require permission before you take pictures just because they want to make sure none of the store fronts are in the pictures themselves. It’s weird but that’s just what I’ve been told every time!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Kileen

In the year of 2017. People around me suddenly begin to hang out with floral wrap dress.I’m feeling curious and suspicion at the moment:”Is this a thing now?”And here’s my thoughts after research and the dress that I bought.
We need some more colors since the spring is here! This skirt is perfect, you rock girl!
