You guys probably know by now that I love adding color to my outfits so it’s no surprise that this look was one of my favorites! If you’re an OG reader of the blog, you might remember that I purchased a pink blazer wayyy back when (summer of 2011!) and wore it literally to death. I made the unfortunate mistake of selling that pink blazer when I purged my closet about two years ago and I can’t keep track of how many times I’ve regretted that decision (CRY!!). I love the way that a fitted blazer pulls together a look and the hot pink color just adds that pop of unexpected whimsy. When I saw that Rafaella offered a very similar structured pink blazer in their latest spring collection, I couldn’t jump on it fast enough!
Rafaella is a new-to-me brand that I only recently tried so I wanted to give you the run-down in case you’re not familiar either. The brand was founded in 1982 and focused on empowering today’s woman by offering sophisticated style and remarkable fit. Rafaella pays close attention to fit and I was particularly excited to see that they offered petite sizing in addition to misses and plus sizes. I’m also always looking for pieces that transition from work to home and love that their pieces wear and wash well — a must when you have two littles who love to get messy!
Their styles are form-fitting without being too tight. I was a bit wary of these capris as I have a hard time finding ones that fit well in both the hips and legs. I don’t want my pant legs to be too tight (remind me of sausage links!) and these are perfect! They’re roomy without being baggy and have a bottom slit that give it polished, modern look. Mine also hit perfectly a few inches above my ankle without any alterations — as someone who’s ALWAYS hemming pants, you can’t imagine how excited I was to be able to wear these off the rack! The pink belt adds the perfect color accent and gives these capris a chic summer-y vibe that I’m loving. They also come in a navy gingham print that I’m seriously crushing on!

Top: Rafaella Striped 3/4 Tee c/o – comes in 5 colors! on sale $26 (non-petite option)
Bottom: Rafaella Capri Pants c/o (more sizes here, non-petite option, also here, and in gingham!)
Shoes: JustFab White Pumps (old, similar)
Bag: Tory Burch ‘Fleming’ – back in stock in ivory!

A striped shirt is also a must-have in my closet and if you look closely, you can see the unique button and contrasting fabric sleeve detail that I think really make this shirt unique. The material is a nice medium weight and perfectly fitted to give it some shape. I actually have a growing section in my closet now devoted to striped shirts as they’re my go-to for layering!
Meanwhile when it comes to blazers, I generally opt for a fit that is structured and tailored. I love that this blazer mixes classic details like notch lapels and front princess seams with a fun pink color that adds energy to any look. Even better is that this blazer is machine washable and saves me from making a trip to the dry cleaners!
If you’re looking for more inspiration on styling a pink blazer, I’ve rounded up a few looks I’ve styled in the past (I’m digging way back in he archived — anyone remember when I had bangs?? 😉). It’s easier to style than you might think — I personally prefer pairing it with black / white so that the pink really pops! I couldn’t be happier to have a pink blazer back in my closet again.

Kileen, I love this bright pink on you! Super cute outfit! I love it styled with the striped tee, too. I was debating wearing a bright pink dress today, but now I do believe you have made up my mind! It is such a fun, vibrant color perfect for a cold Spring day! So bright pink it is for me today.
