We had an unexpected cold front come through and it’s been a welcome relief from the heat. A 73 degree afternoon in the middle of July? Yessir! I took advantage and layered a jean jacket over one of my favorite summer dresses.
Ok, quick confession: I have 2 jean jackets. They’re actually almost exactly the same but one is cropped and one isn’t. Cause you know, some outfits you just can’t wear a normal-length jean jacket and not look like you’re being swallowed in denim. And don’t even get me started on how poofy I looked with a cropped jean jeacket when I was pregnant… It’s all about proportions and when you’re petite, those extra few inches of fabric matter!
Plus, I missed out on the jean jacket trend back in the ’90s. I may not do grunge but give me 2 jean jackets please!
