We had a rainy, rainy Thursday over here (I took a total of 7 outfit pictures versus my normal 30 before I was rained out!) so I opted for a slightly dressed up t-shirt and jeans look. The colors in this striped blouse are a perfect spring palette and mesh yoke adds a feminine appeal that I absolutely love! To avoid over-complicating the neckline, I went with a pair of long statement earrings that also helped lengthen the look of the boxy top. A pair of skinny jeans (these are my fave!) and neon heels rounded out this casual yet fun outfit. There’s nothing better than bright colors and a bouquet of flowers to add some cheer to a rainy day!
P.S. In case you missed it:

You are so brave taking pics in the rain, I love this outfit, how is the whole "not dressing for corporate job" thing going?
it's so liberating to be able to dress more casually! it's a fine balance between being comfortable and not being a slob though. part of me wishes i could stay in my yoga clothes all day! 🙂
Did you find your career counselor online or was this person recommended? Thanks.
I love the blouse. Is it true to size?
It drizzled in SF yesterday too.
I would say it runs big (I'm wearing size S)! The sleeves were really puffy too so I slimmed them down quite a bit as well as a little around the torso where the sleeves attach. I'd say size down at least 1 size or plan on alterations. I love the design though so I was willing to make it work! Hope that helps. 🙂
Oh very beautiful outfit!

Thanks for sharing your update with your counselor! Also, I love the color pairings in this post!
I found my career counselor online. I didin't know of anyone who had used a counselor before, but it seemed like a good idea. thank goodness for google. 🙂
thank you Annette!! and yes, feel free to style your interpretation of this look!
What size are your jeans? Wanna buy them soo bad, but dont know which size i should order 🙂 So it would be perfect if you could give me a little sizing orientation 🙂
I responded to your email but wanted to post here in case anyone else was wondering. I found these jeans to run TTS. I did hem them shorter but they fit perfectly in every other way!
