I haven’t shopped Charlotte Russe in ages now, but I decided to take a chance on this striped blazer when there was a 15% off site-wide sale. It’s totally my new favorite striped blazer now.
I’m also milking the fact that it’s still shorts season here in Texas. With temperatures in the upper 80s, it’s ideal weather to actually enjoy the outdoors!

You look fantastic – and SO warm! I won't be seeing warm weather any time soon (9 months!) The blazer is great! As a fellow shortie, I've really enjoyed seeing your looks. I'm off to follow your links now. Thanks!
Gorgeous blazer! I love the stripes 🙂
thank you so much!
Great outfit! Love your new blazer!
Kisses from Hong Kong,
Nicole
thank you!
So cute- looks identical to the J.Crew one but 1/4 of the price! And we are getting another heat wave next week…ugh:(
Oh I know all about the heat! Back up to the 90s next week. But I'll take heat over cold any day!

I love this blazer with the shorts…and the shoes are awesome!
Omg you sandle 🙂
I just love that jacket – such a seriously awesome piece! And don't even get me started on those amazing sparkly shoes.

Yes! I've been taking advantage of some left-over warm weather here too! First of all I love this outfit! That blazer is perfection – I haven't been to CR in years (actually used to work there…) I absolutely love the way it looks on you and since a blazer is on my wishlist, I might have to check out the website. Also love the subtle sparkle in the shirt and heels – cuuuuute outfit!

Texas can be quite hot. Then again, your looks are certainly hot here! 🙂 Cute shorts and a foxy pair of platform high-heels usually means hot (peep-toes and/or slingbacks don't hurt either). I do like the blazer and top for this outfit as well.

Loving the colors you've put together – unconventional, yet complementing! Great striped blazer too! 🙂
You look lovely, great outfit! I love your shorts and bag!

Oooo Kileen, I love your glitter shoes. So glam. I can't believe you are wearing shorts. I am so jealous. We always expect it to snow on Halloween where I live. Haha! I'd love to be wearing shorts.
I find cute things in Charlotte Russe when I go in there. And sometimes for so cheap! I absolutely love this blazer. You always look so poised, polished and fresh. I love it! I don't think you ever have an off day… 🙂

I Can Be Many Things
Lovin' your blazer, girl! 🙂
xx Love & Aloha
That blazer looks great on you! I rarely shop CR these days, but it used to be a regular haunt of mine when I was younger – unfortunately, I feel like their stuff doesn't last very long at all.
On another note, I am in LOVE with that bag. It's beautiful!
Thanks! I usually spend a little extra and dry clean my stuff from CR cause I'm scared it won't last too.
Kileen
oooh love this outfit! the blazer is so unique and the sparkly heels are so fun. beautiful, kileen!
I'm so jealous! I really wish I could wear shorts like you! The weather is crazy here. One hour is a warm and sunny, the next 1-2 hours cold breeze and fog, but it's sunny again!
Take in some sunshine for me too Kileen 🙂
Just Better Together
That blazer is super gorgeous on you! I have the LOFT version from last year that is gray and blue but I prefer yours!
That jacket is so eye-catching. I'm envious of your warm weather and being able to wear summer-y clothes. Hope you don't take offense but I've been curious for awhile. How long do you wear heels that high? Do you have a desk job?
I love the preppy meets glam of this outfit! Can't believe the jacket is from Charlotte Russe.
i love the outfit! love the blazer!
on the weekdays i wear my heels all day. but i do have a desk job and spend the majority of the time sitting at my desk {a few bathroom breaks and such in between}. on the weekends, I usually wear my heels as much as possible the entire day too {even when running errands}. I'll switch into running shoes when i go to the gym or take them off for yoga or if I'm at the park or something, but that's about it. 🙂
You looked so comfy in the blazer that I had to order one online as well (just ordered actually) and I hope the Medium fits me as I'm 5'6" with wider shoulders (I used to be a swimmer)…Love your blog even though I'm not petite:D
thank you!! i'm positive you'll look stunning in the striped blazer! and i'm hoping my blog will provide styling ideas for all ladies out there, petite or not. 🙂
Hi Kileen, I just stumbled across your blog! Beautiful! I'll be following it from now 🙂 I'm actually 5'11 but these styles are for anyone. Thank you for this!
Thank you, Sophie!! I agree. I try to make my styles wearable for people of any height! The trick is usually finding the items to fit a smaller frame in the first place without having to go thru tedious alterations (you might have the opposite problem with being tall, lol). Thank you do much for stopping by my blog!
