Beauty Brands Addison Grand Opening + Makeup / Skincare Haul!

I just love discovering new makeup and I could seriously spend hours in a beauty store.  A new Beauty Brands store opened up in Addison a few weeks ago and it just so happened to be less than 5 minutes away from my son’s school.  The location could not be any more convenient as it’s located in the Village On the Parkway shopping center along with other shops I already frequent like Whole Foods and Zoe’s Kitchen.  I popped in during their grand opening weekend and let me just say, I was like a kid in a candy store!  

The Beauty Brands store has a wonderful, spacious ambiance upon walking in yet has rows upon aisles of different beauty products ranging from cosmetics, skincare, fragrances, and hair care.

There were of course my favorites including Too Faced, Stila, Tarte, Smashbox, and Laura Geller and I appreciated the roomy counters where I could see everything easily displayed and play around with the different testers.  I also appreciated that there were also associates who specialized in different makeup brands and could provide suggestions as well as quick makeup touch-ups using a certain line that I was interested in!

But, the best part was all the brands that the store carried that I typically have to drive to a mall or specialty store for!  Among these included Origins, Eyeko, Nest, L’Occitane, and Thymes!

And can you get over the extensive selection of hot tools?  I know where I’m going the next time I need to test out a new hair curler or blow dryer!

On the other side of the store is the salon in a similarly gorgeous, open space.  What truly differentiates the Beauty Brands store from other stores is the fact that it offers a full line of services including hair cuts, blowouts, mani/pedi, as well as all sorts of spa services!  

I was given the opportunity to try out their hair salon and treated myself to a beachy wave blowout.  Let me preface this by saying that my hair is pretty tricky to curl — my hair is super fine and is pretty stubborn about holding a curl (I’ve tried out so many different products and tools that I have it down to an art now and just do it myself usually).  I’ve had quite a few blowouts in the past but every time they haven’t been worth writing home about as the curl usually falls out within 30 minutes.  

I was seriously stunned by how amazing my blowout was at Beauty Brands!  The stylists at the store seriously know what they’re doing and I walked out with the most beautiful beachy wave blowout that lasted for the next 2 days!  For anyone in Dallas looking for a great blowout, ask for Janelle at the Addison Beauty Brands store!

I also appreciated the fact that the salon uses all high-end, quality products on your hair.  The stylists are trained in the entire Kerastase line of products and carry everything in store for you to purchase as well!
