Purple Midi + Floral Pumps // Designing My First Custom Shoe via Shoes Of Prey!

Poofy full midi skirts have been having a moment lately and this purple one was the first that I added to my closet and definitely one of my favorites!  This skirt never fails to make me feel pretty and smile just a little bit extra.  🙂

These floral pumps are also a new obsession and actually are the first pair of shoes that I designed myself!  I’ve had a floral crush this season so when I was given the opportunity to design my own shoes by Shoes of Prey, floral print was an obvious choice!  I wanted a shoe that was feminine, classic, yet unique.  I came up with a single-sole floral snakeskin print pump with pointed toe, 4″ heel, and vegan pink insole.  This is the shoe of my dreams come to life!

DESIGNING: 

Designing my own shoes in the Shoes of Prey designer was actually super simple and I loved playing around with all the different color, size, and style options.  The 360-degree viewer made it easy to see the result from all angles!  At the bottom of the designer are pre-made shoes that I found very helpful actually in giving me inspiration for my own design.

QUALITY, SHIPPING, PACKAGING:

All shoes from Shoes of Prey are handmade — absolutely no machinery is used in the manufacture process.  I was so impressed with the quality and comfort of these shoes as they feel and fit like designer!  I was happy to see that Shoes of Prey ships worldwide too!  My shoes took 5.5 weeks from ordering to arrival on my doorstep (they recommend allowing up to 8 weeks for production).  The shoes were impeccably packed and the attention to detail is obvious (check out the wax seal in the shape of a stiletto heel!).

Included in the box was a picture of my custom-designed shoe (great for labeling the shoe box for storage!), a shoe bag, and even inserts and heel pads to ensure comfort!

SIZING: 

My fellow petites will also be happy to hear that Shoes of Prey has sizing that goes from size 1 to 15!  I found that the sizing runs true-to-size.  For pointed toe pumps though, I generally recommend going up a half size to accommodate for the narrow toe box.
