I’m in San Francisco this weekend for a wedding and am loving the cooler weather! I was finally able to wear some fall colors and wear some layers without feeling completely out of place. Annie was super sweet to track down this orange blazer for me and sending it out to me. This is actually my first swing jacket and I’m loving the fun style and gorgeous color!
While in San Francisco for the weekend, I also was lucky enough to meet up with Jess. And on her birthday too! Here are a few snaps of us when we first saw each other near the pier of Fisherman’s Wharf.
We then had an amazing lunch at Hog’s Island where we had some amazing seafood including a shared oyster platter with oysters from all over the U.S., a clam chowder soup actually filled to the brim with clams, as well as a halibut that tasted like it had been caught that morning! Definitely check out this place if you’re ever in San Francisco!

Glad you and Jess had a great time hanging out! Jealous!
I love this swing jacket! If only I was bold enough to pull off such a beautiful color. I love how you paired it with the jeans and black top. It lets the jacket shine on it own.
How fun! Jess looks like such a sweet and nice lady, love your orange jacket!

So glad you went to Hog Island inside the Ferry Building. It's one of my top favorites in the city and I always recommend that to people who visit!
I really like your bag. 🙂
thank you!! it's so much bigger than it looks and i was able to stow my dslr in there too without it looking bulky!
impressive, you're still walking around in heels! Did you pack flats, just in case?
I did! I wore flats the next day to help my feet recover. I felt super small, lol.

blogger meet ups are always so much fun! both you ladies look great! love you in the yellow jacket. and the food looks amazing!!! yum. SF has the best seafood. xx
Kileen! You look gorgeous! I love that swing jacket, it looks lovely 🙂 I love seafood. I live on an island that used to survive purely off the ocean so we have great stuff around here. I'm not one for oysters or clams… but that's because I haven't tried it! Maybe I should? I love salmon and crab. My favorite.
Hope you're having a good time in SF!

I Can Be Many Things
I really like this orange color on you (never thought orange would look good against Asian skin!) but I'm not feeling the swing jacket look on you… maybe because you're more curvy? I just feel the jacket looks a bit too small and makes you look kind of boxy. I think blazers (like your awesome pink/orange zara blazer) are a lot more suited for your body type and way more flattering. I'm no style expert though, so this is only my personal opinion. Not trying to be mean! 🙁
How fun that you got to meet up with Jess!
no worries. i appreciate your honest comment! and i do love fitted blazers more and agree that styling this swing jacket is gonna be tougher because it's more boxy. but i'll see what i can do with it. 🙂
yayy for more meetups! you ladies are so lovely 🙂
