Hello! So super quick before we jump into all the best pumpkin patches in Dallas goodness, I just wanted to mention this striped cardigan as it’s amazing, you need it, and I found it in stock! This striped cardigan is originally from Madewell and while it sold out super quick even after a second restock, I found an identical one still available. Thank goodness to Amazon for pulling through! I’ve linked up this one and several similar striped cardigans that I’m loving in the widget below (thinking I need this beautiful orange/brown/white one and this gray striped one!)
Meanwhile, I can’t believe October is nearly over and it’ll be time to get ready for the holidays already! We’re just heading home from our vacation in Turks and Caicos today but I wanted to share some cute pumpkin photos from a couple weeks ago. My kids love the pumpkin patch and I just love seeing their excitement for all things fall. There are so many good photo opportunities this time of year so I wanted to share a roundup of the best pumpkin patches in Dallas for photographs!
The Best Pumpkin Patches in Dallas:
1. Pumpkin Village in the Dallas Arboretum
Hands-down my top spot to go as it’s been our yearly tradition to come year for over 8 years! There are seriously tens of thousands of gourds of every shape, size, and color that line the streets of the Dallas Arboretum and it’s a pumpkin paradise. The photos above are from our trip this year to Pumpkin Village and you can see photos from previous years here!
2. Hall’s Pumpkin Farm
We checked out this place last year and while there aren’t as many photos if you’re looking for just pumpkin photo-ops, there are so many different activities for the kids! From hayrides to corn mazes, my kids had an absolute blast here!
3. Ruibal’s

Ruibal’s is technically a nursery but they seriously have the best setup when it comes to just creating an organic pumpkin photo! I love going to Ruibal’s just to deck out my front porch for Fall and they always have an amazing variety of pumpkins and it just comes together to be a beautiful backdrop for photos. The giant pumpkins are always in the front as well and it’s such a fun spot to sit your kids for a quick shot!
4. CenterPark at Northpark Mall
This is a new addition that just popped up this year, and it’s a beautiful spot for pumpkin photos that’s free and easily accessible. I love that it’s at the mall too so I can get my shopping fix afterward too!
5. Trader Joe’s
You can’t get more convenient than popping over to Trader Joe’s if you haven’t gotten in a pumpkin photo this year for your littles! I find that the pumpkin display outside of Trader Joe’s is one of the most picturesque when it comes to supermarket setups and if you crop it just right, you can’t even tell that it’s not a legit pumpkin patch!
Do you have any pumpkin patch photo traditions?
